Become a Social Venture Partner

Our diverse membership of business and community professionals means we can tap into a broad range of knowledge, skills, and networks to support our pro bono advising engagements with nonprofits/social enterprises.

From short-term to longer-term commitments, we have a variety or ways for our Social Venture Partners to engage with frontline leaders of organizations addressing our community’s most pressing challenges in Central Texas.

As Social Venture Partner, you have the opportunity to create your own impact plan with opportunities to Lead, Advise, Learn and Connect.

How it Works

SVP membership is a unique experience. Our Social Venture Partners invest in both time and an annual membership donation that is meaningful to them. Personally significant giving allows us to maintain a diverse membership and honors both the human and financial capital SVP members bring to this work. Your annual gift is tax deductible and employer matching funds welcomed!

Membership Diversity

Social Venture Partners who are able to give at levels of $5,000 or more annually allow us to maintain a membership comprised of a variety of backgrounds and experiences (for example, young professionals through senior executives). Your generous gift supports those who are not able to give at a high level, but are able to contribute their skills, knowledge and networks to support our advising work and organization growth.

Grant Pool

For Social Venture Partners who are able to support SVP Austin at $2,500 or more annually, 20% of their contribution will go toward a grant pool for local nonprofits in SVP Austin’s advising portfolio. Each year, Social Venture Partners decide together where to grant the collective funds.

“My experience with SVP cured my longing to do something important again. I feel what I am doing now exceeds any accomplishment I had in my corporate life.”
