Join us to examine Workforce Development issues in Central Texas with recent data and findings from E3 Alliance

Central Texas is booming, capital investment is pouring into the region, and analysts predict even more in the coming decades. We are tens of thousands of workers short from the skilled workforce we need. Building a highly skilled workforce for our future is more important than ever. Luckily, solutions are in hand.

Central Texas school districts have created opportunities for students to transition into postsecondary pathways by offering dual credit courses, career and technology education, and industry-based credentialing. Community partners are expanding awareness, creating an array of student-family supports, improving training based on student input, and building stackable pathways to advanced careers.

Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Policy for E3 Alliance, Jennifer Saenz, will walk us through groundbreaking, newly released student data that provides a landscape and success metrics for these college/career training opportunities. E3 research tells the story about trends, disparities, postsecondary enrollment, and post-high school success that can help to provide the workforce we need.
